2020 Victorian Pacing Broodmare of the Year

It is always a pleasure to recongise the amazing job done by broodmares in the Victoria - after all, they’re the start of every breeding and racing journey! This year it was a very difficult decision for the committee but after tallying and weighing, we are very pleased to announce our 2020 Benstud Standardbreds Victorian Pacing Broodmare of the Year:

American-bred Western Terror mare Kabbalah Karen B had a wonderful season in 2019-20 for breeders Anne & Bill Anderson, with three starters for three winners – and what winners they were! The 2020 Minitube Victorian 2YO Pacing Filly of the Year, Ladies In Red, Kasbah Kid (1:53.1; $153.1) and Beautiful Woman (1:56.4, $14,000) who collectively earnt $368,000 for 2019-20, from 39 starts of which 18 resulted in wins.
