In partnership with Campbell's Comments, HBV look forward to bringing you a fresh new series of our online breeder education program, Breed To Succeed. The latest episode is a showcase of Victorian studs and coming up we have a special edition with Dr Hugh Cathels around foal handling - if you have a topic you'd love to learn more about, let us know via email.

Breeders all in for charity

A big thank you to all those breeders who supported both The Long Run (Prostate Cancer Australia) and Unite For Hope (Pancare Foundation), which saw Team Harnessing Hope raise the fifth most funds for 2024. The industry was well represented in both events and was indicative of the generosity of breeders and studs across the board.

Heidi George '24 run and won

The 2024 edition of the Heidi George Mares Classic was won in an exciting final at Bendigo by Chirropo (Always B Miki x Chiquita Bromac), owned and bred by HBV member Verna El-Khishin. Sponsored by Llowalong Farms, the two-heat-into-final series was very popular with mare owners who received services fees as part of their prize. Congratulations to all involved.
