Need For Speed Nominations Open

Yearling, foal and age nominations for the trotters’ Need For Speed series are now open through Harness Racing Victoria.

Foal Nominations - Need for Speed Series 14 (Foals born in Season 24/25)

Foal Nominations are now open for ‘Need for Speed’ Series 14 – Foals born during the 24/25 breeding season. 

Yearling Nominations / Series Fee - Need for Speed Series 13 (Current 1-Year-Olds)

Yearling Nominations / Series Fee are now open for ‘Need for Speed’ Series 13 – Current 1-Year-Olds. If a Foal Nomination was previously paid, a Yearling Nomination OR Series Fee is now due.

Age Acceptances – Need for Speed Series 11 (Current 3-Year-Olds)

Age Acceptance Fees will be proactively invoiced by HRV (Early June 2025) for those horses that are eligible (Having previously paid both a Foal and Yearling Nomination). Payment will be due 1st August 2025. If payment is not made by 1st August 2025, horses will be automatically WITHDRAWN. Those who have previously paid a SERIES FEE are already eligible and DO NOT need to pay an Age Acceptance Fee.
