Foal Quest finalists announced

The six finalists, as selected by Metro Printing’s panel of graphic designers, have now been announced in advance of the winner being named next week. 

They are as below:

  1. This colt is by Woodlands Stud NZ's Downbytheseaside and is from Durham Park Standardbreds' American Ideal mare, Molly's Ideal. The photograph was taken by Jaimie-Lee King. She has produced six foals to date, headlined by Act Now ($890,000) and Talk Time ($71,000).
    2. This colt is by Muscle Mass and is from Aldebaran Park Lodge's Group 1 winning Angus Hall mare, Endsino. He is the fourth foal from the mare, and a brother to Listed Classic winner Aldebaran Jensen.
    3. This colt is by Alabar Farms' Art Major and is from the Cormack family's Bettors Delight mare, Cowgirlsnlace. He is the third foal from the American-bred sister of Ideal For Real ($324,000) and Cant Top This ($151,000).
    4. This colt is by Alabar Farms' Art Major and is from Tony Dumesny's Christian Cullen mare, Christian Party. The photograph was taken by Norman Valdez at Clarinda Park. He is a half-brother to two $100,000+ winners, Black Onyx and Keayang Jackie while his dam is a sister to Hoss Cartwright ($352,000) and Strike Up The Band ($206,000).
    5. This filly is by Alabar Farms' Majestic Son and is from the Old family's Skyvalley mare, Aldebaran Shelly. The filly is a half-sister to $92,000 winner Lady Adelia.
    6. This filly is by Alabar Farms' Rock N Roll Heaven and is from Lauriston Bloodstock's Captaintreacherous mare, Vegas Diamond. The mare is a full sister to GR1 Breeders Crown winner School Captain and this is her third foal, the eldest is a current two year old.
