An update for HBV members

Dear members,

We write to you in relation to the announcement from Harness Racing Victoria regarding prizemoney cuts and operational cost reductions.

Harness Breeders Victoria is naturally very disappointed that the industry finds itself in this situation, especially in relation to the prizemoney cuts.

We understand that further details in relation to the prizemoney cuts will be released by HRV very shortly.  It is our understanding that First Win Bonuses, Breeders Bonuses and the upcoming VicBred Super Series Finals are not impacted by the cuts in this announcement. 

This will be of importance to the whole industry, but especially our Members as we head into breeding season.

HBV continues to work with HRV Chairman Dale Monteith and CEO Matt Isaacs in relation to understanding the path out of the current situation.
