EHarness Breeders Victoria, with BetaVet and Australian Pacing Gold are pleased to be sponsoring four awards to the best presented yearlings in the Yearling Parade at 12PM on Saturday 3 February 2024.

This series, recognising the best presented colt and filly of each gait, is designed to reward the efforts of staff within the industry who prepare yearlings for the sales.

Every horse in the Melbourne catalogue is eligible to win one of four Awards, with judge Rebecca Lund from SPPHAV making her selection using the following criteria:

* Physical presentation

* Handler presentation

* Coat

* Behaviour

The four winning preparers will receive a trophy from HBV and the vendors a prize pack from BetaVet.

These awards are part of a broader initiative being developed by HBV to reward, encourage, educate and retain those within the Standardbred breeding industry.
